November 2016 & March 2017

The Exuma Cays

A 120-mile-long chain of 365 islands, the Exuma Cays are home to the clearest turquoise water and the finest white sand beaches that I have ever seen. In November of 2016 I spent 18 days living on a 30-foot sailboat cruising between these islands, hiking through caves and colonial ruins, snorkeling reefs in The Bahamas' oldest marine protected area, and falling asleep under a perfectly clear sky each night. I was then able to return one more time in March for a research expedition with the stingray research team. Eleuthera is incredible, but the Exumas are truly a dream.
