Eleuthera: The Sights
Stretching 110 miles long and an average of 1 mile wide, this narrow, crooked island sits at the divide of the calm, shallow seas of the Bahamas Banks and the deep, turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Coral reefs, mangrove creeks, sandbars, flats, blue holes, saltwater ponds, and the black depths of the Exuma Sound are just a few of the beautiful and unique ecosystems present on and around Eleuthera. It's a marine biologist's paradise, and for two years, it was my paradise and home. I have thousands of photos from my time on this magical island, here are just a few of my favorites of the beautiful views and creatures of Eleuthera.
