I don't know what I expected from Baja California Sur, Mexico, but I certainly didn't expect it to be an underwater wonderland. Playful sea lions, pods of whales, leaping mobula rays, and vibrant reefs covered in healthy coral, I was blown away by the amount of life below the surface of the Sea of Cortez. Exploring on land was equally beautiful; between the charming artist's community of Todos Santos, and the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Isla Espiritu Santo, we saw some of the best that Baja had to offer. I'll be Baja California day dreaming until I can plan my next trip there.
